Parts of the Long March 5B rocket re-entered the atmosphere at 10.24 am during Beijing (0224 GMT) and landed at intervals of 72.47 degrees east and 2.65 degrees north, Chinese media reported to China Manned Space Engineering Office.
Links place a point of impact on the ocean somewhere in southwestern India and Sri Lanka.
