Fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi who had gone missing for some days has been traced to Dominica and been arrested by the local police there.
Diamantaire Mehul Choksi, wanted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for multiple bank fraud, is in Dominican police custody.
Choksi, who was reported missing on Sunday by a family member, was arrested on Tuesday night following a yellow notification.
According to Antigua media, Dominican police are now making arrangements to hand over Choksi to Antigua police.
Choksi acquired the citizenship of Antigua and Barbuda in 2017.
