People can register through Arogya Setu and Umang App.

The center had also announced registration from April 28, with the availability of the vaccine available to people in the 18–44 group from May 1, but without specifying a time.

Many people tried to register after midnight of 27 April but were unsuccessful. As of Wednesday morning, the Cowin web portal cancels registrations for people born after 1976.

Now making vaccines available to people in the age group of 18-44 is largely the responsibility of the states. They are expected to interact directly with the vaccine companies for 50% of the vaccines produced each month.

The center will have access to the second half and free immunization programs will continue for those above 45.

So far, no announcement has been made by the states signing any agreements with the vaccine companies, although many have stated that they will provide the vaccines for free.

Therefore, there is uncertainty as to whether the vaccines will actually be available to people under 45 years of age from 1 May.
