Chinese Ambassador Liu Pengyu said China "strongly opposes and fights all forms of cyber attacks," describing FireEye's allegations as "irresponsible and ill-intentioned".

At least two groups of Chinese-linked hijackers have spent months using unpredictable risks on U.S. private communications devices to spy on the U.S. defense industry, Tuesday.

Utah-based IT company Ivanti said in a statement the hackers had used the error on their Pulse Connect Secure suite to hack into "very few customers."

Ivanti said while the adjustment was reduced, the resolution would not be available until early May.

Ivanti did not provide details on who could commit the intelligence operation but, in a timely report announced by Ivanti, the online security company FireEye Inc said it suspected that at least one of the hacking groups worked for the Chinese government.

"One we suspect is in line with China-based programs and collections," said Charles Carmakal, Mandiant's vice-president of FireEye, ahead of the report.

Arresting hackers in a particular country is full of uncertainty, but Carmakal said his analysts 'decision was based on a review of the hijackers' tactics, tools, infrastructure and intentions of the hijackers - many of which fit in with China's previous entry.

Chinese ambassador Liu Pengyu said China "strongly opposes and fights all forms of cyber attacks," describing FireEye's allegations as "disrespectful and malicious."

The FireEye declined to name the hijackers' intentions, citing only "security, government and financial institutions around the world." He said a group of hijackers accused of working for Beijing had focused on the U.S. defense industry.

In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security's cyber unit said it was working with Ivanti to "better understand the vulnerability of Pulse Secure VPN devices and reduce potential threats to public and private networks."

The U.S. The National Security Agency declined to comment. U.S. officials We have repeatedly accused Chinese hijackers of stealing American military secrets over the years in various ways.

Recently network devices, which can be difficult to monitor, have emerged as a way for digital detectors.

In 2020, FireEye warned Beijing-based hackers were targeting devices manufactured by Citrix Systems Inc and Cisco Systems Inc to gain access to multiple companies in what it described as one of the most comprehensive Chinese actor campaigns seen in recent years.

The timing of this latest series of hacks has not been specified, although FireEye's report said it investigated them "earlier this year."

Carmakal added that hackers were working on American digital infrastructure and borrowing naming conventions for their victims to hide their work so that they could look like any other home-based employee.
“We see the best performing arts at the highest level,” he said.
