Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda led Bhartiya Janata Party is on the way to expand the scope of the Cabinet Ministry and distribute the Ministries to make the functioning of the system much stronger and efficient. This expansion of the Cabinet is also targeting upcoming State Legislative Assembly Elections and 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. It is also speculated that Minister would take oath on Thursday 8th July around 10;30 am.
Several leaders have been approached for the Ministerial position, including 2-3 Former CM, Former State Ministers and other prominent leaders of the Party. The Party is also targeting Party allies like Anupriya Patel to crack the regional vote bank. Several others speculate about granting the place in Cabinet to Former CM, which includes Sarbanand Sonowal (Former Assam CM) and Narayan Rane (Former Maharashtra CM) as Sonowal sacrificed his CM candidate post for Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Meanwhile, Government is also analyzing Former Congress Leader Jyotiraditya Scindia for granting Cabinet Ministry, who became a defector after an inter-party clash between him and Kamal Nath. As a result of that, the Congress government falls in the State of Madhya Pradesh, and this credit is given to the Jyotiraditya Scindia that he brings a fair number of MLA's into BJP. The High Command is equally analyzing the upcoming election. They are moving forward with granting positions to SC, ST and OBC candidates for the vote religion and caste-based vote bank.
However, the Government has given various reasons for Cabinet expansion. Out of those aspects, the most favourable and the key is to reduce a load of multiple Ministries over one leader. This is also treated as if one Minister holds one Ministry then that Minister would focus more over the Single, which may lead to the boost in work.
Therefore, the cabinet expansion is significant as this will reduce the workload and stress over Ministers. Through that, Ministers can concentrate more on one field, which will boost the nation's work and progress.
