On Tuesday the government said the number of separate cases in Delta Plus in the country was now more than 50. The fastest-distributed variant is the modified Delta model from India.
"A total of 51 Delta cases and various cases have been reported in India," Union Department of Health officials said at a press conference on Tuesday.
The Punjab government has recognized a growing number of Delta Plus cases and extended the coronavirus limits until July 10. However, many breaks such as the opening of bars and restaurants by 50 percent have been enabled. The directives will take effect from July 1, the state government said. The decision was made after a high-level review meeting chaired by Prime Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.

The Maharashtra government has also begun preparing for the expected third wave of coronavirus (Covid-19) with a particular focus on child protection. Maharashtra has the highest number of Delta Plus cases in the country.
Delta Plus is a highly contagious Delta branch that caused a nail in the coffin in April and May that put pressure on health care facilities, cremation.
The exceptions show greater resistance to other vaccines and therapies commonly used to treat Covid-19. India has already declared Delta Plus as a 'variant of concern'.
However, Niti Aayog member and head of the Covid team Dr VK Paul said there were no scientific data to date to find that the alternative reduces the effectiveness of the vaccine.
"The so-called Delta plus variant shows an additional change in the Delta model and as this is a new variant, scientific knowledge is still in its infancy," he said Monday.
Meanwhile, India's new daily Covid charges dropped from four lakhs during the second wave rise to nearly 50,000 in the past few days and the process of opening or removing borders is continuing in many parts of the country.
Therefore, it is very much recognized that the new variant of the pandemic is really very harmful and contagious. According to the reports, the spread of Delta Plus variant is much higher and effecient than the past variants. The Health experts and Government only suggested the individuals to get vaccinated as soon as possible in order to tackle the Pandemic effectively.
