Rift arises within Congress-led Punjab Government, as Navjot Singh Sidhu meets prominent MLA’s

Navjot Singh Sidhu

The Congress Led Punjab Government had some revolutionary activities seen within the party as the state Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu had a meeting with some of the prominent MLA’s and Ministers of the state. This instance shows that Sidhu is planning something as this incident take place barely 1 year ahead of the Punjab State Assembly Elections.

However, Navjot Singh Sidhu had uneasiness with the Chief Minister Amarinder Singh arisen just after the 2019 Lok Sabha Election. The Sidhu is reportedly waging war against the CM Amarinder Singh by involving former PCC Chief Partap Singh Bajwa and Congress Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Dullo had a pot shorts over the CM.

Meanwhile, he even involved the Corporation and Jails Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa and Technical Education Cultural Affairs and Tourism Minister Charanjit Channi in the meet. Randhawa reportedly nettled with the Amarinder after he charged on him at the Cabinet meeting which was called to discuss the Sacrilege case. The Randhawa at that time written a letter of his resignation and handed it to the CM who reportedly tore it.

The steps taken by Navjot Singh Sidhu seem revolutionary against his office by taking all the nettled once taking with. The Punjab assembly elections are will be scheduled to hold in early 2022 along with UP, HP, and Uttarakhand.

Thus, the rift within the Congress party  is very common nowadays which  is probably the results of weak high command and lacking feeling of obedience towards the leader among the party members. The G-23 and Jyotiraditya Schindia are the best examples which clarifies that the High command is not functioning very well.
