Maruti Suzuki India is offering free service, warranty, and extended warranty to customers. Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Director (Services) - Maruti Suzuki India stated, “With customer comfort at the core of the initiative, we have decided to extend free services, warranties, and extended warranties to our customers by 30 June 2021. Earlier, it expires from March 15 to May 31, 2021. As customers in many states are experiencing restricted movement, this extension will provide relief. They can avail of these services at their convenience. , Because lockdown becomes easier. "
We have seen vehicle manufacturers taking similar initiatives last year when the strict lockout was put in place to prevent the spread of infectious COVID-19 virus across the country. Even now, Maruti Suzuki is joining carmakers like Tata Motors, which have already announced the extension of free service and warranty coverage. Earlier, Maruti Suzuki also joined hands with two NCR-based firms to boost the production of oxygen PSA generator plants. The car manufacturer established that these plants are being built on small-scale units with limited resources or the ability to scale production.
