India records a deadly surge in the last 24 hours as cases cross over 1 lakh highest since the outbreak of the Pandemic. The figures account for 103558 new cases, 478 deceased, and 741830 active cases. India is 2nd after the US crossed the 1 lakh cases.
Maharastra accounts for around 60% of the cases in India
and registered 57074 cases highest since the outbreak of the Pandemic. The
constantly rising number of deaths in Maharastra is also recognized to be a
headache for the government. According to the health experts, due to increase
negligence among people for not wearing masks and sanitizing at regular
temporal the cases are rising at higher rates.
Meanwhile, UP, Karnataka, and Delhi record more than 4000
cases whereas Chhattisgarh account for 5000 cases on the second day in a row.
Rajasthan has imposed a night curfew from April 5 whereas schools from classes
1 to 9 shut down as IIT-Jodhpur records around 70 cases in the premise. Andra
Pradesh and Tamil Nadu also witnessed a supreme rise in Covid-19 cases.
A bunch of actors came into the contact of Corona Virus
as recently superstar Akshay Kumar and around 45 co-actors of the film “Ram
Setu” also found Covid-19 positive whereas Bhumi Pedneker and Vicky Kaushal also joins the list.
Around 7.5 Crore people were vaccinated as of now and
59000 people were vaccinated in Delhi on Sunday. The vaccination drive is on
and Medical Experts believe that it is going to take a minimum of 21 months to
vaccinate the country.
