Congress Veteran Kapil Sibal and Manish Tewary rebuke over Congress leadership and high command amid Punjab Congress Crisis. Gulam Nabi Azad also shot a letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi amid the ongoing crisis in Punjab and other states.
While addressing the press conference, Kapil Sibal expressed his concern over the party's management and the ongoing crisis in the party. Kapil Sibal also emphasized the Congress president elections and questions over the delay in the process of election of party president.
"I am speaking on behalf of personal capacity and like-minded people who had written the letter last year. I stand here with a heavy heart. I am a part of a party that has a glorifying past. I can't see the situation it is at the moment. Sibal also added that he wanted to strengthen the party by eradicating the deformities existing in the system," Sibal further stated during the press conference.
Manish Tewary, a G-23 member, slammed Congress during early hours and said that only Pakistanis take advantage of this ongoing political crisis intensified in Punjab.
Last year, Sibal and other G-23 members collectively wrote a letter to the Congress President expressing their concern over the management of the party and questions leadership and a high command over the persisting crisis in Rajasthan, MP and Punjab.
Eventually, the congress party need to conquer all its internal disputes, persisting for a long time. The arising issues within a political party operating in a state directly affect the development and working process in the concerned state.
