WTC Final: Day 1 game abandoned due to Rain and wet outfield

On the first day of the Test at the World Test Championship Final between India and New Zealand at Southampton on Friday is got cancelled due to continuous rain and wet outfield. The match is supposed to start at 3 pm (IST), but it will ensure that the field at the Ageas Bowl, covered it, and the draw has been suspended. Day 2 will begin at 2: 30 p.m IST if all remains well.

The ICC has taken a spare one day to make up for the time lost due to inclement weather. The rain had been predicted for Southampton, and for the majority of the first-stage, head-on in the longest format. India will start as favorites because of the vast options available to them, but it will be in the capable hand. New Zealand is warmed up and in the two-test series against England, and it is widely distributed in both the win in the second match within four days leaving one day spare.
