Delhi farmers are celebrating 'Save Kheti, Save Democracy Day' under the banner of United Kisan Morcha (SKM). Farmers will also visit Raj Bhavan (Governor's House) in many states.

Farmers in Punjab, Haryana, and western Uttar Pradesh have been protesting since November 26 last year demanding the withdrawal of three agricultural laws and ensuring MSP for their produce. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has once again given his support to this movement of farmers.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted and wrote that 'Sidhi-Sidhi Baat Hai - We are with the food donors.' Naresh Tikait, the national president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, had said on Friday that if the government leaves its insistence, then the solution will be found, we are ready for talks.

This government has spoiled the future of the younger generation and destroyed the farmer. If the government does not accept our demands, we will protest in the upcoming elections.

Tractors started arriving on the Delhi-UP borders in large numbers from Thursday night. Farmer organizations can once again take out tractor marches. The farmers have also rehearsed the tractor march on Friday. Earlier, on 26 January 2021, farmers took out a tractor march. There was also loss of life and property in this tractor march.
