In the main event of the day is a TV show because of the Covid-19 pandemic, there are limitations to the meeting. The event will also feature a keynote speech by the Minister of State for Ayush Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, and a yoga demonstration by the National Yoga Institute of Morarji Desai.

In a statement, the Ayush Ministry said that during the difficult times of the global pandemic, the department has a number of digital initiatives for the practice of yoga accessible to as many people as possible. The missions in India and other countries in Europe, to coordinate a variety of activities in the run-of-the-Day in their respective countries, and as Yoga Day, is said to be held in 190 countries around the world, the ministry said.
