Vaccine Delivered by Drone: Vaccine will be delivered to the end of the country with inaccessible areas by drone, experimental investigation completed

New Delhi, Vaccine Delivered by Drone: Preparations have started to give corona vaccine to those living in the inaccessible areas of the country. The vaccine will be delivered by drone to the citizens living at the extreme ends of the country with inaccessible areas.

HLL Infratech, a subsidiary of state-run HLL, on behalf of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), has floated tenders for contracting drones.

Vaccines and other essential medicines can be delivered to remote areas.

The tender will be opened on June 22.

According to HLL Infratech, the objective of this agreement is primarily to establish a medical supply network through drones so that vaccines and other essential medicines can be delivered in remote areas.

This will create a medical supply delivery model in the country.

The drone must be capable of carrying a cargo weighing at least four kilograms. Delivery using parachute will not be allowed.

In most of these states too, the number of new cases is less than two thousand.

According to the terms of the tender, the range of the drone should be at least 35 km, so that it can return to its station after delivery of the goods.

The weight of the drone should be as per the standards set by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

To strengthen it, ICMR has already done a pilot trial of drug delivery with the help of drone in collaboration with IIT Kanpur.

Based on the study of that investigation, ICMR has set the standards for delivering the vaccine by drone. Keeping this in mind, a tender has been issued to deliver the vaccine by drone.

Decrease in corona patients

On the other hand, the second wave of corona epidemic has stopped in almost all the states of the country including the national capital Delhi.

There is a steady decline in active cases and there has been a further decline of 54,531 in the last one day.  Barring only five states i.e. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, less than five thousand new cases are being reported in all the remaining states.
