New Delhi: In the Master Plan 2041, concrete preparations have been made to develop Delhi as a green city by taking it out of the list of most polluted cities in the world.
Most of its proposals and provisions have been made to increase green area, electrify the transport system, solve the problem of housing, traffic jam and parking.
To reduce pollution, focus on walkways, cycling
New rules for building cycling highways to connect Delhi-NCR have also been included in the master plan.
Such highways will have to be identified by the local bodies.
The draft focuses on building walkways and cycling to reduce vehicular pollution. The walkway will have the facility of barrier free walking.

EV policy to promote e-vehicles
In the master plan, it has been said to make the transport system of Delhi completely electrified. For this, charging stations for electric vehicles will be provided at various places and public parking places.
Explain that the Delhi government has also notified EV policy in this direction.
In which there is a provision of subsidy on the purchase of every category of e-vehicle. In addition, bus access will be eased to facilitate access to inadequately serviced areas.
Bus routes will be rationalized to connect with metro stations.
