The opposition of the country writes to PM Narendra Modi about the ongoing situation of the Pandemic and the status of vaccination. The opposition parties also raised the issue of the Construction of Central Vista and Farm Laws. The leaders of 12 opposition parties which includes Congress President Sonia Gandhi and West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee by putting nine demands in front of the Central Government.
The Leaders of Opposition parties put various demands and urge PM to fulfill the demands to save the people of the Country. The letter has been signed by several chief ministers also which include Maharashtra CM Udhav Thackrey, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, and Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin.
Several opposition leaders also signed this letter such as Tejaswi Yadav, CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, NCP leader Sharad Pawar, JKPA Leader Farooq Abdullah, SP Supremo Akhilesh Yadav, CPI’s D Raja, and former PM HD Deve Gowda.
“Unfortunately, your government has either ignored or refused all these suggestions. This only compounded the situation to reach such an apocalyptic human tragedy” the letter stated.
The letter reiterated the demand to repeal the three farm laws to give relief to the farmers ‘Annadata’ of the country and save them from the surge in the Pandemic as several cases Covid19 recorded in protest and many of them succumbed. The letter also demanded to grant Rs.6000 per month to all the jobless once and free food grains in these tough times.
The letter even raised questions upon the construction of the Central Vista and urged PM Narendra Modi to divert the funds incurred in that for the Covid19 welfare. The letter stated that the money should be transferred to the unaccounted private trust fund whereas the PM-CARES fund must be released for buying the essentials required in the Pandemic like Oxygen availability and medications.
However, the opposition is playing pure politics as the basic duty of the opposition is to stand with the government in the fight against the Pandemic. These circumstances are very crucial the political parties need to come together by sidelining their political interests but, the political parties are busy raising the silliest issues like Central Vista and three farm laws which are totally out of the box. There is nothing about Central Vista as the government is having that much money to counter the situation of the country but due to lack of efficiency in the system, the majority of problems were raised.
Thus, the central government and the oppositions need to come together as the country is approaching the new infection called Black Fungus. The cases of Black Fungus in India have recorded a terrible jump in the last few days, but the opposition is busy playing the political games.
