PMO postpones the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) and makes more Medical graduates available for Covid-19 duty as the Medical condition of the country is declining. No new date has been decided yet to conduct exams.

The bulk of Doctors and hospital staff tested positive in this ongoing second wave of the Pandemic as the majority of them are involved in this Crisis. While treating the patients the Hospital staff and the Doctors can easily come into contact with those who are ill and to resolve this issue the government has decided to strengthen the medical system furthermore.

PM Narendra Modi on May 2 reviewed the meeting which was scheduled to discuss the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the country. In the meeting, PM decides to postpone the exams and place Medical graduate students for the Covid-19 duty. PMO also offered the incentive to those Medical practitioners who adopted the task. The government.

Meanwhile, most of the entrance exams and the school level exams had been in the past few weeks like JEE (mains), Class 12 and 10, and now NEET-PG due to a monstrous surge in the Pandemic.

Therefore, the step taken by the Union government is looking good as the massive surge in the Pandemic can even cause healthcare issues to those who are preparing for it whereas the government needs those medical practitioners to perform the Covid19 duty as the situation is getting dreadful.
