Mamta Banerjee and M.K. Stalin going to take oath for the Chief Ministerial chair on May 5 and May 7 respectively. They both emerge as strong leaders by defeating the opposition decisively. The Mamta Banerjee going to Chair the seat for the 3rd time in a row whereas MK Stalin led DMK coming into power after a hiatus of 15 long years.
Mamta Banerjee at nearly 7 pm going to meet Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and then will decide about the cabinet ministers whereas the MK Stalin said they will surely fulfill their promises that they made at the time of polling. According to the sources, MK Stalin to take an oath on May 7 which also include his son Uddayanidhi Stalin in holding a ministry in the young cabinet.
Mamta Banerjee through the politics of appeasement and polarization wins the Bengal election whereas the MK Stalin-led DMK wins the election on the agenda of giving everything “free” politics. The name of communalism is dragged equally in both the states as the one is fighting on Muslim appeasement and polarization and the other is fighting based on language barriers and free politics.
The government of TN clears that the oath ceremony will be very simple and they will surely follow the guidelines issued by the Election Commission whereas the West Bengal government stated they will also not violate the guidelines issued by the Election Commission. The guidelines were smashed at a vast level by the party workers in both the states despite the ongoing pandemic.
Therefore, each party has that much right to celebrate the victory but that doesn’t mean they can anything or can break the law or the restriction imposed for the public safety due to the severity in the country. The political parties must understand the true values of humanity and the safety of the general public as they are meant to work for them, not to satisfy their interests.
