Covid19 Update: Record jump in the cases and people deceased, vaccination and government policy

India records the biggest surge in Covid-19 cases as the country marks 401993 fresh cases and 3523 deceased in the last 24 hours since the outbreak of the Pandemic. The Second Wave of the Pandemic shows vast devastation in the country as it tolls for 3268710 active cases presently whereas the vaccination drive in the country is also on boost as around 15.50 Crore people vaccinated till date.

 
The government trying hard to tackle the persisting situation as BJP led central government releases the Rs.8873.6 Crores in the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) for the year 2021-22. The Union Ministry of Finance in the statement said that 50% of funds must be used to tackle the Corona-virus Pandemic containment measures.

 
The central government also guided the states to use these funds for purchasing the consumables, thermal scanners, personal protective equipment, testing kits, and testing laboratories.


Meanwhile, India is poised to start the 3rd vaccination drive from today in all over the country for above 18 years of people but, due to lack of the vaccine doses only 8 states can start the campaign against the Corona-Virus Pandemic.

 
The vaccination drive gets boost as the first slot of the Sputnik V entered into the Indian boundaries. Deepak Sabra, CEO of Dr. Reddy’s laboratories said that around 150000 doses of the vaccine were delivered to Hyderabad and it is available after going through the statutory clearance.


Therefore, emergence to boost the vaccination drive and implement some of the strict restrictions to prevent the spread of the virus needs to be taken.
