Covid-19 Update: Cases dips but, deaths remain high whereas new medicine launched

India is currently suffering through the second wave of the Pandemic. In recent past days, a dip marked in the Covid-19 cases. The Country as per the fresh cases counted around 2.5 Lakh fresh cases of the Pandemic but, the deaths are around 3750. 


The current reports show that the virus is in its declining stage and as a result of that the second wave of the Pandemic will not last more than 1 month, according to health experts. The Pandemic is now confined in some parts of the country that includes Southern India and the West Bengal region.


However, the northern part of the country has already been through the peak but, now the peak hits the hits southern parts of the country, and as a result of that the Karnataka, Kerala, Goa, and Tamil Nadu recording highest number of cases and covering around 55% cases of the Country.


Meanwhile, in the fight against the pandemic, DRDO also approved the emergency use of their anti-covid drug that is 2-DG. DRDO is preparing for this medicine since last year and finally got successful in their attempt. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Health Minister Dr. Harshwardan launched the newly build anti-Covid drug.


Therefore, the country is bravely fighting against the Pandemic as around 3.8 Lakh people recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. The security forces are also trying hard to eliminate all the odds coming in the way vaccination drives and continuously approving different medicines in the fight against the Pandemic.
