India marks the biggest surge in the Covid-19 cases since the Pandemic was initiated. India reported 414188 fresh Covid-19 cases by taking the toll to 21491598 and 3915 people deceased counts total 234083. The reports are finally coming favorable according to the prediction of the scientists that in mid-May the pandemic is going to be on peak.
Meanwhile, the largest number of Covid-19 cases recorded in the southern states mark the arrival of the peak in the southern states. The states like Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra have seen a massive surge in Covid-19 cases in the past few days. Karnataka is also approaching forward on the lines of Maharashtra as the state records more than 50000 cases in the last 24 hours.
However, the eastern states also recording severity in the Covid-19 cases as West Bengal records more than 18000 cases in the last 24 hours followed by Orissa and Jharkhand is also seen a jump in the number of cases.
The vaccination is believed to be a charge on the Covid-19 and tame it but, due to lack of involvement of people in the vaccination drive the pace unfortunately got slows down. The government is trying hard to facilitate the vaccination process by involving the Russian Dr. Reddy’s vaccine Sputnik-V in the stock.
Therefore, the government needs to make the system more active and efficient in the work as India is already well-nourished with the facilities but the problem lies in the functioning of the system. The proper functioning of the system majorly includes the efficient transport of medical equipment and resources from one place to another where it is needed the most.
