BJP meeting in Delhi over the selection of Assam CM: Sarbanand Vs Himanata

The suspense built over the state’s new Chief Minister as BJP President JP Nadda and HM Amit Shah conducted the meet in Delhi on the selection of Assam New CM which is in Dilemma between Sarbanad Sonowal and Himanta Biswa Sharma. At Delhi’s residence of JP Nadda, the meet has been constituted for the discussion.

Though, both the Assam’s prominent leaders reached Delhi on a Saturday morning. The Himanta Biswa Sarma reach firstly at the BJP President’s Residence and later was joined by the Home Minister Amit Shah whereas followed by him current CM of Assam Sarbanand Sonowal also reached the BJP president’s house to discuss the ongoing situation. Both the leaders were approached by the High Command to give their views to hold the state.

 
According to the sources, the Himanta Biswa Sarma and Sarbanand Sonowal were firstly talked solely with high command later they both were present in a talking side by side. It is not yet decided that Prime Minister will take part in the meet or not, the sources stated.

Therefore, the Assam state is itself in a great dilemma over the selection of the candidate to rule the state as 4 out 5 states on which the election happened have solved this situation and all of them were already taken the oath like Mamta and MK Stalin. The main reason behind the Assam’s Dilemma is that the state has two mast prominent leaders and the supporters of each of them want their candidate to sit over the CM seat.
