MP Chirag Paswan removed as the LJP President after the conflict between Pashupati Paras and Chirag (Chacha-Bhatija). The decision was taken just after the emergency meeting of Party's national working committee.
Chirag Paswan supporters besmirch the black ink over the 5 MP's who supported the Pashupati Paras by going against the Chirag. The 5 MP's of LJP supported the Pashupati Paras and later got suspended by the Chirag.
The conflict between Pashupati Paras and Chirag Paswan arises after Pashupati Paras favoured Nitish Kumar and wanted to join the BJP led NDA alliance again. Earlier, Suraj Bhan Singh, sworn as national working president, was entitled to solve the situation by convening the party to elect the new national president of LJP. There are very high speculations that Pashupati Paras will be going to be the party's new president.
Earlier, Chirag Paswan broke up with NDA during Bihar Legislative assembly elections, 2020, due to conflict with JDU over seat-sharing and policies or manifesto ideology. Ram Vilas Paswan died in October last year; after that, his son Chirag took the party's power into his hands.
Therefore, this clearly shows the something is lacking in the leadership of Chirag Paswan as, under Ram Villas Paswan, the whole party was under control and was functioning very efficiently. Though, Chirag needs to develop or train him in the game of politics more.
