West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said in a tweet that he was "disgusted" by the government's view of the post-election violence, and had instructed the secretary general and the DGP to provide him with a "complete" report.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Saturday said West Bengal Secretary-General and Director-General of Police (DGP) had called him without the "paperwork or reports" demanded from them regarding post-election violence.

Dhankhar said in a tweet that he was "disgusted" with the government's position on the matter, and instructed the Secretary-General and the DGP to provide him with a "complete" report.

"The Secretary-General of the government of Mamata Banerjee and the DGP of the West Bengal police visited me in Raj Bhawan at 6pm today. Unfortunately, they both came without the required paperwork or reports. They directed themselves to send the same without delay.

Dhankhar said on Twitter earlier that he expected top government officials to be more aware of the state of affairs, especially "in relation to post-election violence and vandalism."
