AAP spokesperson and MLA Atishi Marlena said that the World Health Organization (WHO) and several countries have approved the vaccines produced by Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson by December 2020 but the Central government of India is dragging its feet to approve the emergency authorization to these vaccines. "Many vaccines are being approved across the world. Pfizer vaccine has been approved in 85 countries, Moderna vaccine has been approved in 46 countries and J&J is approved in 41 countries,” she said in the statement.
“Why were these three vaccines not given emergency authorisation? If WHO can approve them, why can't India? This clearly shows that the Centre has created this artificial scarcity to favour Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech," she stated in the Press Conference.
AAP spokesman also said that neither Barat Biotech or SII has the capacity to generate the required number of vaccines to cover the entire population. "The central government must answer why in the midst of the Pandemic of vaccination scandals," she stated.
Delhi BJP spokesman Praveen Shankar Kapoor responded to AAP's allegations. Kapoor told news agency PTI that Bharat Biotech or SII could not benefit from the shortage of vaccines because the shortage would affect the entry of foreign producers.
Therefore, these type idiotic allegations must be stopped while the scientists and doctors are making their 100% attempts to overcome the affect of the Vaccination. These type statements must be stopped which humiliates or insults those Health workers.
