PM Narendra Modi inaugurated Kushinagar International Airport and Rajkiya Medical college to Kushinagar, UP with the eye of strengthening the Buddhist Circuit. The Kushinagar International Airport and Rajkiya Medical college will empower and trigger developmental work in the nearby small towns of eastern UP.
PM Modi was accompanied by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Buddhist monks along with Sri Lankan Cabinet Minister Namal Rajapaksha. The Buddhist Monks and relics were brought to India from Waskaduwa Sri Subuddhi Rajvihaa Temple, Sri Lanka under Mahanayaka of the Temple. PM Modi also went to a Mahparinirvana temple and perform the rituals.
Kushinagar International airport registers itself as the third International Airport of Uttar Pradesh. The airport is built on 590 acres of land with a cost of 290 crores, it aims to advance and strengthen Buddhist tourism across the world.
Thus, the BJP government of the State and Centre is focusing upon the agenda of development for their upcoming 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Elections. The wave and gift of development to Kushinagar truly depicts that the country is moving forward and recognizing the politics based on development policy, rather than focusing on politics of polarization, appeasement and false propaganda.
