Steelbird High-Tech India, a two-wheeler safety gear manufacturer, has introduced a new Blauer POD open-face helmet in the country. The new retro-styled offering has a vintage flair and is priced from Rs. 9,079 onwards, Rs. 9379. Helmets are available in sizes between XS (Extra Small) and Large.
The Blauer POD is located in the premium end of the helmet segment and competes with offerings from Bell, AGV and Axor. The American brand also recently introduced the Brat open-face helmet.
Speaking at the launch of the new offering, Rajeev Kapoor, Managing Director, Steelbird Helmets said, "The Blair POD is sure to be liked by riders as its details and designing highlight the importance of the comfort of the riders as it is extremely lightweight And robust.his model is an amalgamation of style and world-class safety standards. The helmet also has dual certification of ECE 22.05 and IS: 4151.
"Blauer POD gets a fiberglass shell that promises high safety with light weight. The company says the helmet is made from a shell balloon molding process that allows it to be lighter, stronger, and more durable.
The helmet is designed in accordance with interior liner access regulations - The European Regulatory Authority for the Detection and Protection of the Environment from Harmful Materials.
The model comes with a dual visor with an internal sun shield and can be placed in clear and smoke options. Blauer POD also has a quick-release mechanism buckle.
