On the orders of Kerala High Court, that only less 500 people can be invited for the oath ceremony and oath ceremony can be possible only if this condition is fulfilled. The state is currently experiencing the peak of the Second wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
The Left Democratic Front (LDF) led by the Vijayan’s CPM won the State Legislative elections of Kerala which were held in April-May. United Democratic Front (UDF) alternated option of the LDF which was led by Congress Government got defeated heavily in the elections for the second time. LDF alliance scored 99 seats out of 140 seats in the state.
Meanwhile, the second oath ceremony is constituted because Former Health Minister KK Shailja was not included in the Cabinet. CM Pinarayi Vijayan said that the party wants a fresh new cabinet with new faces so that’s why they gave rest to the veteran ministers of CPM. On the Contrary that experts assumes that the rising popularity of KK Shailja may reduce CM Vijayan’s influence in Kerala that’s why made this decision.
The allegations were also there that CM Vijayan is moving on the path of Nepotism in politics by giving a prominent ministry to his Son-in-law Mohammad Riyas. The experts believed that the new faces of the cabinet haves close contact with the CM Vijayan.
Thus, removing a prominent minister from the cabinet is not right as the leaders are meant to work for its people and state, if the state started admiring any minister is because that Minister is working continuously. Stopping anybody to work for the state is very well recognized to be a step taken in the state of jealousy.
