The Delhi government opened 301 new vaccination Centres in 76 Schools for people between the ages of 18 and 44 on Monday, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said.

These facilities have a vaccination capacity of more than 45,000 per day. More than 33 lakh figures have been held since the start of the vaccine in Delhi so far and more than 7 lakh have received both doses, the government said.

“The Delhi government has received 4.5 million vaccines so far, which is the reason why 301 vaccination centers have been set up in 76 schools across Delhi, vaccinating 45,100 citizens. We want to ensure that all citizens between the ages of 18- 45 are vaccinated. We are determined to increase immunization centers in Delhi in such a way that each school has 10 sites, ”said Mr Sisodia.

The minister said in the next few days, 3,000 immunization centers would be launched in 300 schools across the city. He also added that there are 100% people voting and he hopes it will continue.
‘250 per center’

“A total of 250 people were called to each center for today's vaccination campaign, with 100% of the population. I am confident that this number will agree because I believe that our youth are looking forward to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. I have met a number of people who can inform me that although they do not face barriers to achieving goals in institutions, there are still challenges in terms of employment. This is because we have 4.5 lakh vaccines currently with limited facilities, but we will address these challenges as we continue to expand our facilities, ”he said. The Minister added that vaccination of all people would help reduce the bird's burden and defeat the virus.

At 3pm, Pandara Road Vaccination Center officials said there was a positive response today but some arrived without a deposit and should be evicted.

Some people complain that most facilities are only open to people over the age of 45 and it is difficult to book a place. Balkishan, 31, a lawyer, said, "I have been checking facilities in the south of Delhi and I cannot find a place for more than 18 people in my area. I will look again tonight."
