India witnesses the biggest rise in a single day ever since the outbreak of the Pandemic. India records around 115000 cases in the last 24 hours and 630 lose their life. PM Modi is going to hold a meeting on the 8th of April with the CM’s of different states to take the necessary news and discuss strategies to fight the Pandemic.
Around half of the cases are coming from Maharastra (55469) only whereas Chattisgarh and Karnataka also faced a surge in the Pandemic. Bengaluru, orders impositions of section 144 due to a massive spike in Covid-19 cases whereas the Raipur capital of Chattisgarh is gone into lockdown mode. The national capital along with UP also witnessed more than 5000 cases in a single day.
During the Pandemic, the future of the nation is critically hampered by the shutting down of the Schools and Colleges. It affects the study, but it also hampers the overall growth of the future generation. This leads their outside experience and engagement with the world is calculated to be zero due to the Pandemic. Student lacks face to face interaction with people and these type situations cause lacking in the confidence level. At IIT Jodhpur, IIM Ahemdabad, several schools, and hostels in different parts of the country held many students Covid-19 Positive. Students are also griped by the board exams which is scheduled to be held in April- May.
Around 8.7 crore people received their first dose while 1.11 crore people got their second dose. Opposition demanding Centre to reduce the age limit of vaccination from 45 to 18 years as the largest portion of the population lies between the age limit of 18 to 45 years. Centre allows vaccination at the workplace from April 11.
