Delhi High Court reprimanded the Delhi government over the black marketing of oxygen supply

Delhi High Court on Tuesday reprimanded the Kejriwal-led Delhi government over the consistent complaint by the hospitals for lack of oxygen in the Capital. The Delhi High Court showed displeasure on the kind of reports coming about the black marketing of oxygen and medicines is consistently increasing in the capital. 


Under the bench led by Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Rekha Palli, the Delhi High Court said in their statement that this is a mess that the Delhi Government failed to prevent the ongoing practices. The High Court further added that if you are not capable enough then tell us we will approach central government officers to over this issue of the refilling unit in their hands.


The Delhi High Court suggested the Delhi government to take action against those oxygen refillers who are not following the government orders and appealed those who became vultures in these tough times. The Court also directed the Delhi government to take the records of all pharmacies about the Remdesivir, Dexamethasone, and Fabiflu medicines to prevent black marketing. 


The Shanti Mukund Hospital stated that they are continuously approaching the oxygen suppliers but they refused that we are not going to give you even one cylinder. 


Earlier, the Shri Gangaram Hospital and the Jaipur Golden Hospital reported the shortage of oxygen in the hospitals and due to which 25 and 20 patients died respectively. 


Thus, the oxygen crisis in the country is approaching higher rates. Human values are not persisting these days as some people in these tough times trying to make money by putting many lives in danger.
