BJP worker Gopal Majumdar’s 85 years old mother Shobha Majumdar allegedly beaten up by the TMC workers in North 24 Parganas one month ago, take
her last breath on Monday morning. It was alleged that at the time when she was around Nimta Pollviolence occurred in that she was brutally assaulted by TMC goons because she was a mother of BJP
worker(karyakarta).
TMC MP Sougata Roy denied charges put on TMC workers for brutally assaulting Shobha Majumdar that cause her death. He further added that she was too old and died due to her illness issue. Earlier today, Home Minister Amit shah take a pinch on his twitter handle said “Anguished over the demise of Bengal`s daughter Shova Majumdar ji, who was brutally beaten by TMC goons. The pain & wounds of her family will haunt Mamata didi for long. Bengal will fight for a violence-free tomorrow, Bengal will fight for a safer state for our sisters & mothers.”

After Home Minister, BJP Party President JP Nadda also came forward on this issue and expressed his condolences through twitter said, “I wish peace to Nimta’s old mother Shobha Majumdar’s soul. She had to sacrifice her life for her son Gopal Majumdar being in BJP. BJP will always remember her sacrifice. She was Bengal’s ‘mother’ as well as its ‘daughter’.
