Twitter chief executive Jack Dorsey has announced that he will consider making a Bitcoin wallet for digital payment services company customer Square.
The hardware wallet will be built entirely in public, from software to hardware design, and in partnership with the community, he tweeted on Friday.
"Bitcoin belongs to everyone. It is important for us to build an integrated product that brings a solution that is not the ultimate solution to the global market," he said.
A strong supporter of cryptocurrency, Dorsey and rap artist Jay-Z has announced that he will invest 500 bitcoins (approximately Rs 174 crore) in a donation to support the development of Bitcoin with a focus on India and Africa.
For Dorsey, Bitcoin is like poetry and that you see enough opportunity for Bitcoin to bring change to the ocean world.
"Most people have access to the internet on mobile phones. Any solution we create should give the best experience when using a mobile phone, even though it has its flaws and debt. Focusing on consistent mobile interaction is likely to involve many people," he stressed.
Bitcoin is currently on a turmoil thanks to Tesla chief executive Elon Musk.
After giving fans a huge cryptocurrency, Musk has come forward to help build a Bitcoin Mining Council that will promote transparency in power and "accelerate global sustainability programs." "
Musk had previously announced not to use the popular Bitcoin cryptocurrency as a payment mode to purchase its electric vehicles, citing environmental damage. The money was released, lost about 50 percent of its value in the short term, and is now roaming around $ 38,000.
After applying the brakes to Bitcoin as a payment mode for buying Tesla cars, Musk also revealed that he could make his own cryptocurrency soon.
