SBI Latest News: State Bank of India offers door to door banking services, know it Here

The country's top lender is offering door-to-door banking services to its customers.  In the current COVID-19 scenario, one should step out only when necessary.

However, SBI's doorstep banking facility is a relief for those customers who are finding it difficult to visit nearby branches. 

SBI customers can avail SBI Doorstep Banking Services (DBS), which will include facilities like pick-up services for cheques, drafts, pay orders, new check books and many other services.

SBI has recently tweeted about SBI's doorstep services from its official Twitter handle. The tweet reads, 'Your bank is now at your doorstep.  Register today for Doorstep Banking.

According to the official website of SBI, the services that can be availed through SBI Doorstep Banking (DSB) facilities are:

  • Cash pickup
  • Cash delivery
  • Check pickup
  • Check Requisition Slip Pickup
  • Form 15H Pickup
  • Delivery of draft
  • Delivery of Fixed Deposit Advice
  • Life Certificate Pickup
  • KYC document pickup

Key Features of SBI Doorstep Banking Services:

To avail doorstep banking services of SBI, SBI customers need to register on toll number 1800 1037 188 or 1800 1213 721.

SBI is offering many services under the doorstep banking facility of State Bank of India.

SBI Doorstep Banking Facility offers three types of services - Pickup Services, Delivery Services and Other Services.

Pickup services are provided for cheque/draft/pay order, new check book demand slip, IT challan and standing instruction request.

In delivery services, SBI is offering draft or pay orders, fixed deposit receipts, account statements, TDS/Form-16 certificates and gift cards.

Among other services, SBI is offering cash withdrawal, digital Jeevan Pramaan for pensioners.

Eligibility criteria:

Senior citizens over 70 years of age and persons with disabilities or disabilities (with medically proven chronic illness or disability), including people with visual impairment.

Services can be availed by KYC compliant account holders.

Valid mobile number should be registered with the account.

Single account holder and joint account holder either with or with survivor / former or survivor.
