Malaysia aims to vaccinate 60% of the country's population by the end of September, according to Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
The nation has seen an increase in the number of infections in recent weeks, and 4.08 million people, or 12.5% of the population, have received at least one Covid vaccine, the World Bank said on Wednesday.

The government is confident that it will provide 11 million doses by July, 13 million by the end of August, and another eight million by the end of September, Kairy said.
