Intelligence agencies alert about farmers' agitation, Pakistani ISI may conspire to incite violence,Know it Here


New Delhi, Today, seven months have been completed for the farmers' movement protesting against the agricultural laws. In view of this, today farmers have announced to take out tractor rally. Amidst the tractor rally in Delhi, intelligence agencies alerted the Delhi Police as well as other agencies that people associated with Pakistan-based ISI can target the farmers' movement. 

Intelligence agencies have alerted the Delhi Police and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) that Pakistan-based Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is plotting to sabotage the farmers' movement. According to intelligence agencies, ISI can also try to spread violence by instigating farmers.

Today on June 26, there is a nationwide demonstration of farmers. According to official sources, a letter in this regard has been sent to Delhi Police and other concerned agencies. After receiving the letter, elaborate arrangements have been made by the Delhi Police. Some metro stations have also been closed for a few hours on Saturday for security reasons. The letter mentions that dedicated and adequate security will be deployed outside the metro stations.

As a precautionary measure and to avoid any disturbance in the law and order situation, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Saturday ordered the closure of three metro stations- University, Civil Lines, and Vidhan Sabha from 10 am to 2 pm. has decided. 

This step has been taken on the advice of the Delhi Police, which has also made elaborate security arrangements.

Several farmer groups are also expected to join the protesting farmers in the border areas of Delhi today.

Meanwhile, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Friday urged the farmers' unions to end their agitation against the three agriculture laws of the Centre. While addressing the media persons in Bhopal, Tomar on Friday said- "I want all the farmers' unions. I urge you to end my agitation. The government had held 11 rounds of talks with him. Agriculture Reform Bill will bring betterment to the lives of farmers.
