 IIT-Roorkee launches two new MTech programmes in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

IIT Roorkee has launched the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (CAIDS) and two MTech programmes will be offered from the academic session 2021-22.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee is going to have a new MTech programme in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science for the academic session 2021-22. These programmes will be carried out by the Institute established the Center for Artificial Intelligence and computing (CAIDS). The application for participation in the program, candidates need to register at COAP in 2021, the website at the following address: coap.iitd.very clean.in.

There are already 23 of the faculty in 15 departments of the Institute is to go with the CAIDS, who is a co-faculty center. The candidate must have a BTech / Integrated master of science, or an equivalent degree in any engineering course, in order to be effective. The applicant must also be a CGPA of 6.0. The list of candidates for the report, will be selected based on an online web-to-face interview.

Ajit V, Chaturvedi, director of IIT Roorkee, said, "AI, the DS has opened up new avenues of research within a variety of disciplines and specialties. The centre for artificial Intelligence and data science will play a key role in the development of its AI and DS in the countryside, to promote the development of the workforce, research and innovation, which will lead to entrepreneurial opportunities."

CAIDS started with the aim to form the AI and DS, the landscape of India, through the promotion of AI and DS, the education, training and development, workforce, applied research, entrepreneurship and innovation. The cross-disciplinary initiatives, is expected to play an important role in a variety of areas, including finance and investment, banking, Shops, healthcare, Transportation, supply chain management, computer science, and many others.
