Saudi Arabia to Bar Overseas Hajj Pilgrims for Second Year

The ministry of Hajj operations have been carried out, and noted that this decision does not benefit the more than 60,000 pilgrims have arrived in the age group of 18 to 65 years, take a vaccine, and suffer from chronic diseases, the state-run Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Covid-19 vaccines from Pfizer, Inc., Astrazeneca Plc., Moderna, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson, the vaccination is deemed reliable, in order to facilitate the Hajj, the minister of health Tawfiq Al-Rabia said at a news conference in Riyadh on Saturday.
"The world is still suffering the effects of this pandemic, and that is the reason why we have been trying to limit its Kind in years in the kingdom of god, Al-Rabia said. "We would like to debunk a few of the variants of the virus," he added.
The Hajj is obligatory for all able-bodied adult Muslims once in their lifetime if they can afford it. Last year, Saudi Arabia restricted the hajj pilgrimage to Mecca to about 1,000 Muslims.
