Dubai. Dubai has eased travel restrictions for its residents coming from several other countries including India. These people will have to take both doses of the vaccine approved by the UAE.
According to Gulf News, the Supreme Committee on Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai announced an update to Dubai's travel protocol regarding travelers arriving from South Africa, Nigeria, and India. Such travelers coming to Dubai from India will only need a valid visa. According to the report, the four vaccines that the UAE government has recognized include Sinopharma, Pfizer-Biotech, Sputnik-V, and Oxford-AstraZeneca.

Rule coming into force from June 23
The Supreme Committee on Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, chaired by Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced updates to Dubai's travel protocols for travelers arriving from South Africa, Nigeria, and India from June 23, Gulf News reported.
Travelers coming to Dubai from India will only need a valid visa. However, immigrant travelers from South Africa and Nigeria are also allowed to travel subject to vaccination and PCR test conditions. The report said that a negative report will also be required in the RT-PCR test taken 48 hours before the journey.
However, UAE citizens are exempted from this. Only the QR-coded negative RT-PCR test report will suffice for them. Apart from this, passengers from India have to undergo a rapid PCR test four hours before traveling to Dubai.
On reaching Dubai, he will also have to undergo another PCR test. Apart from this, after reaching Dubai, passengers from India will have to undergo quarantine till their RT-PCR test results are out, which is expected within 24 hours. Its information is given in the report.
