Dubai, AP. Yossi Cohen, the former head of Israel's intelligence agency Mossad, has given many information about Mossad's activities in Iran.
In an interview to an Israeli TV channel, he indicated that Israel was reportedly the target of the attacks on Iran's underground nuclear plants in Natanz and the targeting of a military scientist. Israel's intelligence agency Mossad was behind this.
Yossi Cohen has said such things about the agency that usually carried out its operations in a very secretive manner during the last days of Benjamin Netanyahu's rule.
Cohen also warned Iranian scientists that they could be targeted if they were part of the nuclear program. This statement of the former Mossad chief has come at a time when efforts are being made to restore the nuclear deal between Iran and America.
Cohen said that if scientists change their careers, it will be better for them because it will not hurt anyone.
It is known that the centrifuge was destroyed in July 2020 due to a mysterious explosion at the underground nuclear plant in Natanz, Iran. Iran blamed Israel behind this.
This year, on 11 April 2021, a blackout was seen at the Natanj nuclear plant.
Iranian officials said the nuclear facilities had broken down.
The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, called it a terrorist attack.
He said the international community and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had been informed of the need to deal with it.
However, Yossi Cohen did not explicitly admit that Mossad was behind those attacks.
