New Delhi, Online Desk. Delhi Traffic Police has issued a new guideline for the roads of the national capital Delhi.

This new guideline is about the speed limit on the roads of Delhi.This time some changes have been made in this rule as compared to earlier, for which notification has been issued.

The order will be pasted in the offices of the Deputy Commissioner of Police along with every police station.

Explain that the order will be published in the Official Gazette for the information of the general public.

Along with this, a copy of it will be pasted on the notice boards of all the Deputy Commissioners of Police and all the Police Stations of Delhi/New Delhi so that people can know about it as much as possible so that no one is inconvenienced.

Since when is it applicable

This order has been implemented with immediate effect from June 8.

Changes will soon be seen on the roads regarding this.  For the convenience of the public through the concerned agencies or other means, the old sign boards on the roads will be removed.

Soon after this, a new speed limit board will be installed so that people do not face inconvenience while driving.

Change has happened on these busy roads of Delhi-

NH-44 from Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar to Mukarba Chowk - 60 kmph

Barapula Nala Road to Saraikale Khan - 60 kmph From Noida toll road where the curve is - 70 km per hour

Outer Ring Road to Chandgi Ram Akhara - 60 kmph

Millennium Park to Ghazipur Border - 70 kmph  Point Radisson Hotel to IGI Airport - 60 Kmph

Failure to comply will be fined

Please tell that Delhi Traffic Police will deal strictly with those who do not follow these speed limits.  Your challan will be considered fixed as soon as you cross the speed limit.  Therefore, to avoid the amount of this fine, it would be better to drive keeping the speed limit in mind.


In this way, understand the change on the Roads

Let us tell you that according to the new notification of Delhi Traffic Police, the maximum speed limit fixed for the car on most of the roads of the capital is around 60-70 kmph.

At the same time, there is a change in the rules for lakhs of two-wheelers in the capital, their maximum speed limit has been fixed at 50-60 km per hour.

Here, 40 km per hour has been fixed for public transport like buses, tempo and three wheelers.
