In this video, Aamir Khan is seen talking to Dr. Samit Sharma who explains the price difference between common drugs and medicines available on the market.
Yoga guru Ramdev on Saturday wrote in an old video for Bollywood actress Aamir Khan 'Satyamev Jayate' and asked if "medical practitioners" had the courage to imitate this Bollywood actor. In this video, Aamir Khan is seen talking to Dr. Samit Sharma who explains the price difference between a common medicine and a branded drug.
This comes at a time when Ramdev's recent digs for allopathic doctors amid an ongoing dispute between yoga guru and the Indian Medical Association that began last Saturday after Ramdev's video of condemning allopathy spread. The medical association had written to the union's Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and as a result, Ramdev withdrew the video, expressing regret. But both parties are far from burying the hatchet as the IMA has sent an official notification to Pananjali Yogpeeth. Patanjali is also taking the lead, said Secretary-General Acharya Balkrishna earlier.
In a video that Ramdev posted on Twitter on Saturday, Dr Samit Sharma said the initial price of the drug was much lower than the market price. "People over 40 crores can't afford to buy square meals twice a day. Can they buy medicine at a 50 percent price?" He says.इन मेडिकल माफियाओं में हिम्म्त है तो आमिर खान के खिलाफ मोर्चा खोलें-

"That is why so many people are constantly on medication," Aamir Khan was quoted as saying.
The video dates back to 2012 when a television program, which lasted until 2014, began to appear. The episode in which the video is taken talks about common medicine and the sign of medicine. "One month-long anti-cancer drug costs 25 1.25 lakh. But a standard drug costs about ₹ 10,000, including all costs," said Dr Sharma.
The head of the Indian Medical Association, Dr JA Jayalal, recently said that doctors and their association have nothing against Ramdev, but with so many fans, his comments on Covid-19 could discourage people from vaccinating. Dr Jayalal said the IMA would issue its complaint and legal notice if Ramdev retracted his comments which completely undermines modern medicine.
While the Uttarkhand chapter of the Indian Medical Association challenged experts from Pananjali Yogpeeth in a televised interview on allopathy, a new complaint against Ramdev was filed in the West Bengal chapter of the Indian Medical Association. The Federation of Resident Doctors' Association has announced a nationwide protest against Ramdev's speeches on June 1.
