The various Mamata Banerjee Cabinet is made up of 43 ministers including 15 new faces.

More than 43 West Bengal prime minister Mamata Banerjee's cabinet ministers, including 19 state ministers, took the oath of office in Raj Bhavan in Kolkata in front of Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar in a simple ceremony, commemorating the rampant coronavirus epidemic.

While former Finance Minister Amit Mitra took the oath of office through a video conference, veteran leaders, including Sabata Mukherjee, Partha Chatterjee, Firhad Hakim, Jyoti Priya Mallick, Moloy Ghatak, Aroop Biswas, Dr Shashi Panja and Javed Ahmed Khan were sworn in as Minister Izhaj.

After the swearing-in ceremony, Banerjee will hold his first meeting with his cabinet later in the day.
While Kabir is one of ten people to become government ministers (private case), Tiwari and Saha appear on a list of nine sworn members as government ministers.

On May 5, Mamata Banerjee was sworn in as Prime Minister for the third time in a row by Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar.
In the recently concluded Parliamentary elections, the TMC won the most votes by securing 213 seats out of 292.

However, Bengerjee himself has lost Nandigram, Bengal's political base.
