Madhya Pradesh Prime Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also said the state would provide women with loans, who want to work or start a business, with a government guarantee.


Madhya Pradesh Prime Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday announced that children who had lost their parents or guardians at Covid would be provided with free education and a monthly pension of R5,000.

"We cannot leave such families, we are the government of the country and we will support these children" said Madhya Pradesh CM, adding that such children need not worry, as they are the children of the state, and the state will take care of them.

"We will provide pension 5000 per month to children who have lost their parents / guardians in the Covid epidemic. We will also provide free education for these children and free money for these families," he said.

The premier also said the state would give women money, who want to work or start a business, with a government guarantee.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh reported 8,970 new cases of Covid-19 and 84 deaths on Wednesday.
