Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday decided to extend the lockdown till May 31 even the cases are declining at a humongous rate. The Delhi government led by CM Arvind Kejriwal in the press conference announced that the Delhi government is extending the lockdown for one more week to reestablish everything. Delhi also records a tremendous decrease in the Covid-19 cases as it records 1649 fresh cases in the capital.
Delhi CM also said that the Unlock process will start
after the lockdown if the no of Covid-19 cases continues decreasing. The Unlock
part will also in a phased manner like that of the lockdown part. He further
added that the positivity rate of Delhi's record continues to decrease and
results in 2.5 percent.
Kejriwal further supported the lockdown that the lockdown
is much important so that the gain achieved after much struggle is not lost. I
consulted many people and the general opinion favored the lockdown extension
for one week. So, the Delhi government has decided that lockdown will be
extended to 5 am on May 31,” Arvind Kejriwal stated in the press conference.
Meanwhile, if reports and data to be believed Arvind
Kejriwal earlier last year during the lockdown 1 opposed or criticized the
Central Government at large. He also stated that if they were in the Center
they will not hamper the daily routine and jobs of the middle that they lost
due to the imposition of the lockdown.
On the Contrary that when the lockdown imposed by Delhi
led the Kejriwal government, Kejriwal said imposing lockdown is the best
measure taken by the Delhi government and applauded themselves. This shows the
pure dual character of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Therefore, this type of politics must be stopped as this
hampers the values and faith of the people of the country in politics or
leadership. The harsh situation of the pandemic must be fought collectively as
all must come together to work for the nation.
