New Delhi: The Caribbean Premier League or CPL on Friday confirmed the complete list of players from all over the world who will be part of the tournament season this year. CPL 2021 will start on 28 August and the final will be played on 19 September.
This year will be the ninth season of this T20 league, which will include some of the biggest superstars of the format.
There have been some hustle before the season with Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo, who will now be part of the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots team.
Sheriffen Rutherford will also be part of the team along with him.
Chemo Paul will now represent St. Lucia Jukes, while Oshen Thomas is with Barbados Tridents. India U-19 World Cup winner Samit Patel is also named among the 101 cricketers for CPL 2021. He will play for the Tridents.
All 33 matches of the 9th season of the Caribbean Premier League will be played at Warner Park in St. Kitts.
After the announcement of the CPL, some difficulties have arisen for the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL as well, because the IPL is expected to be organized tentatively from 15 September.
