According to the report, the company can name this bike Shotgun.The Royal Enfield 650cc Roadster will sport designs such as a round LED headlamp, flat handlebar, neutral-set footpegs, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and split seat.
This bike will be given a two-way black exhaust setup with comfortable ergonomics.
Unlike the existing 650 twins, this upcoming RE 650 roadster and cruiser motorcycle may also get a semi-digital instrument cluster and tripper system for turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone connectivity.
Engine and safety features: The current 650cc parallel-twin engine can be used for Royal Enfield upcoming cruisers and roadsters, this engine will generate power of 47 bhp and torque of 52 Nm with a six-speed transmission.
The hardware used in this bike will be different from the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, while the suspension setup will include upside-down front forks and twin-sided rear spring.
For safety, this cruiser motorcycle with dual-channel ABS will run on alloy wheels that will be equipped with tubeless tires.
Report on Price and Launch: At present, no statement has been made by the company on the price and launch of this bike, but it is being said that the company can launch it by the end of this year. The price of which will retail well above the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.
In the media report, the price of this new cruiser-style model is being told from 3.40 to 3.60 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
