Vehicle manufacturers are now adding luxury car features to new-age affordable models to make them more attractive to customers.
We have already seen premium features such as wireless charging, 360-degree parking camera, cooled seats and many more that were introduced in some affordable cars.

On that note, we list below the top five cars that are equipped with ventilated seats, under the price category of Rs. 18 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
Kia Sonnet
The Kia Sonnet Subcompact SUV is one of the cheapest cars to come with a feature-loaded cabin and premium exterior design.
One of the main highlights is the addition of front ventilated seats, which is also a segment-first offering. This feature is only offered on HTX + and GTX + trims.
The South Korean carmaker recently introduced the updated sonnet SUV in the country. HTX + Variant Price Rs. 11.75 lakhs, while the GTX + is priced at Rs. 13.25 Lakh (Ex-showroom). The SUV is offered with 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-liter turbo T-GDi petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engine.
Transmission options include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed IMT, 6-speed torque converter and 7-speed DCT automatic.
Hyundai Verna
Next on our list is the Hyundai Verna sedan. It is one of the cheapest sedans in this segment with front ventilated seats. The car manufacturer offers this feature only on the top-of-the-line - SX (O) and SX (O) turbo variants.
While the SX (O) variant is priced at Rs. 12.84 Lakh, the SX (O) Turbo model is priced at Rs. 15.25 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Hyundai Verna is offered in India with three engine options and five engine and gearbox combinations - 1.5-liter NA petrol, 1.0-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter diesel mill.
Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, with an optional IVT, a 6-speed torque converter and a 7-speed DCT.
Kia Celtos
The Celtos compact SUV is the second car from the South Korean automaker to be offered with ventilated seats.
The company recently announced updated sonnet SUV prices in India along with 2021 sonnet SUVs. This feature is offered only on GTX (O) and HTX + trims. The price of GTX (O) variants starts at Rs. 15.35 Lakh and HTX + variants are priced from Rs. 15.79 Lakh (Ex-showroom, India).
The updated Celtos offers similar powertrain options - 1.5-liter SmartStream petrol, 1.4-liter SmartStream T-GDi petrol, and 1.5-liter CRDi VGT diesel. Transmission options include 6-speed manual, intelligent variable transmission (IVT), 6-speed torque converter, 7-speed DCT automatic and 6-speed IMT (intelligent manual transmission).
Hyundai Creta
Like the Verna, the South Korean carmaker also offers front ventilated seats on the Creta compact SUV.
The Creta gets front row ventilated seats only in SX (O) variants. While the price of Petrol SX (O) variants is Rs. 16.65 lakhs, the diesel SX (O) AT model is priced at Rs. 17.65 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
The SUV comes with a choice of three engines including 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-liter VGT diesel and 1.4-liter turbo GDi petrol. Transmission options include an optional torque converter (1.5-liter diesel), 7-speed DCT (1.4-liter turbo petrol), and a 6-speed manual with IVT automatic (1.5-liter petrol) as standard.
Mg hector 2021
MG Motor India launched the 2021 Hector SUV earlier this year in the country. The Chinese-owned British carmaker has brought some features to the SUV, including cooled seats. This feature is available only on Sharp trim.
The Hector's Sharp variants with ventilated seats are priced in the range of Rs. 17.39 Lakh to Rs. 19.05 Lakh (Ex-showroom, India). Mechanically, the Hector 2021 comes in three powertrain options - 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-liter petrol hybrid and 2.0-liter diesel engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual as standard with optional DCT and CVT automatic units.
