Google has announced the launch of new features in its Meet system such as an updated user interface (UI), autozoom, enhanced trust features enabled by the latest Google AI and tools that make meetings more interactive.

Starting next month, desktop and laptop users will see a new, richer user interface with more accessible features that make meetings more productive and engaging for everyone.

The new Meet for web includes updates on video feeds, viewing and presentation experience, and the bar below.

"In an effort to reduce fatigue at meetings, we give you more power over how you look at yourself in meetings," the company said in a statement Wednesday.

You can choose to feed your video to a tile grid or a floating image, which can be resized and rearranged.

If you choose not to see them at all, you can easily reduce your feed and completely hide it from your view.

"We will also add a setting that will help you turn off your feeds for all Google Meet calls," the company said.

To increase presenter confidence during meetings, Google has also improved pin-pin content.

When not pinned, the presentation tile is about the same size as other participants' tiles, allowing you to see more people on the phone and better respond to the gauge.

"Similarly, in the coming months we will be introducing options to customize your views on Google Meet, including the ability to pinch multiple video feeds. This will provide greater flexibility in the way you connect people with content, customizing anything you like right now," Google said.

In addition, Google has introduced another feature that works with AI to keep people focused during meetings.

Autozoom helps other people see you clearly through AI to zoom in and position you well in front of your camera.

"When you move, Autozoom learns smarter, so that everyone in your team can stay focused on what's important. Autozoom will be available to Google Workspace (paid) subscribers in the coming months," the company said.

The company also updated the bar below in the Meet app to make meetings easier to use.

In the coming weeks, Google will once again add the power to change your domain with video.
