India again faced a huge spike in Covid 19 cases as India reports 81466 cases highest in last six months and more than 400 people (469 died on 2nd April) died on 2nd day in a row. Many state governments called off for the meeting in the evening on the matter of rising Covid 19 cases.

Maharastra CM Udhav Thackrey said that he is going to address the general public after the meeting. Maharastra state government also hinted that they are going to impose lockdown if the situation persists. As Maharastra records 43183 cases and 249 died in the last 24 hours that’s why some crucial steps are needed to be taken to put restrictions on the virus.

In Delhi, AAP said they will not going to impose lockdown as it is not good for National Economy and also added that they are going to increase the testing. In order to prevent the spread of the virus further Madhya Pradesh government imposes a lockdown on 4 districts.

Several different educational institutes mark a surge in Covid 19 cases as Bengaluru records 89 students found Covid positive, 25 students at IIT Jodhpur came positive.

Punjab government imposed night curfew on around 11 districts whereas several other state governments have restricted all educational institutes.

The worrying surge in Covid 19 cases is being caused due to some “Covidiots”. DMK Chief Stalin’s rally witnessed the largest number of people without masks despite Covid 19 cases are coming at a higher rate whereas 500 people were jailed for not wearing masks in Indore.

Apart from these types of negative reports, India will soon get seven more new vaccines, said the Government of India.
